The house was built in 1872, and was once a cottage hospital. After a brief spell as a country club, it became a small hotel combined with a popular restaurant - run by Mr Peter Trumble.

Trumbles is conveniently - located near Gatwick Airport - the location is not under the flight path, but the airport is less than a 10 minute drive away.

The mini-bus at Trumbles is used for all transfers to and from Gatwick Airport between 6.00am and 11.30pm, and it can carry up to 8 passengers with luggage. For guests travelling to Gatwick before 6.00am a Complimentay Taxi is arranged.
